Air Arabia Jordan to launch direct Dammam flights
ATP- Arab tourism portal- Amman, Air Arabia Jordan, the new low-cost carrier based in Jordan, will launch direct flights to Dammam, Saudi Arabia, commencing September 1.A major centre of industry and oil production, Dammam is also home to King Abdul Aziz Sea Port, one of the busiest commercial ports in the kingdom.
The carrier will fly twice weekly between Jordan’s capital and the largest city in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, departing Queen Alia International Airport on Wednesday and Sunday at 23:05 and arriving in Saudi Arabia at 01:20 the next day.
Flights to Jordan will leave King Fahd International Airport early on Thursday and Monday mornings at 02:00 before arriving back in Amman at 04:30.Dammam joins Jeddah as Saudi Arabian cities served by Air Arabia Jordan.
The carrier also flies to Erbil in Kurdistan Region of Iraq, Sharam El Sheikh in Egypt, and Kuwait City in Kuwait.
"In a short span of time, Air Arabia Jordan is rapidly establishing its route network and bringing a new level of connectivity to people living in Jordan," an Air Arabia Jordan spokesperson said.
"Dammam is the entry point to a province of more than four million people and a major centre of industry in the Middle East.Consequently, we look forward to launching our new Amman-Dammam route in September.
"Air Arabia Jordan began operations in May and is Jordan’s leading and only low cost carrier.
