Appointing Jean-Marc Harion as Chief Executive Officer of Orange Egypt starting 1st of September

• Orange Egypt announced the appointment of Jean Marc Harion as Chief Executive Officer succeeding Yves Gauthier.

 

 

 

 

 


aTP-  Arab tourism portal News – Jean Marc Harion bringing over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications sector in which he spent in leading positions in the sector and achieving numerous successes in many countries in the world. Since 2011, Jean Marc Harion was the Orange Belgium Chief Executive Officer, one of the largest companies in the group in Europe. Before that he acted as the Chief Executive Officer of Orange Dominica for a period of 3 years.

 


Jean Marc Harion stated: "I’m really excited to take this step as CEO of Orange Egypt, and I have full confidence in the Egyptian competencies in general and in the Orange Egypt team’s ones in particular. I truly believe in our ability, together, to achieve Orange Egypt objectives and foremost to provide the best service to our customers, according to our slogan: ‘it’s all about what matters to you”.

 

Jean Marc Harion previous experience includes a wide range of positions within the Orange group, including Vice President of the French Business Development for Communications in New York, United States of America, Vice President of the commercial sector in Orange France in Paris and Director of operations and data services for Orange group in London.

 


In his latest meeting with the company management team, Yves Gauthier gave special thanks to his colleagues in Orange Egypt and expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the five years that he spent as CEO of Mobinil until he witnessed the rebranding to become Orange Egypt in March this year.

 


Yves Gauthier stated “it was a  great honor for me to lead Mobinil and Orange Egypt, and I wish the best for all Orange Egypt employees and I wish to have the opportunity to visit Egypt again."

 


It is scheduled that Yves Gauthier will move to Meditel in Morocco, which Orange owns 49% of its shares.
