ATP-  arab tourism portal-Graham Cooke President & Founder of World Travel Awards is in Seychelles ahead of the Oscar of Travel Industry.


This year’s World Travel Awards Africa & Indian Ocean Gala ceremony is seen as a golden opportunity for Seychelles to be position in the world of lavish red carpet events.


Impressive block of leading hospitality industries which throughout the year have strived for excellence by providing high quality products across Africa and Indian Ocean Region are converging in Seychelles to attend the World Travel Awards.

Set at Kempinski Resort Seychelles on 20th June the World Travel Awards Africa & Indian Ocean Gala ceremony which is this year celebrating its 22nd anniversary, will recognise and reward leading lights of hospitality industries in about 30 countries in Africa and Indian Ocean.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 


A total of 66 awards will be given to leading hospitality industries in Africa, Angola, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Mozambique, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia, Indian Ocean, Madagascar, Maldives, Mauritius and Seychelles. Nominees for the different awards are selected through on line voting.


Seychelles Hospitality industries are in the line-up for leading Boutique Hotel, Leading Conference Hotel, Leading Green Resort, Leading Hotel Suite, Leading Luxury Hotel Villa, Leading Resort and Leading Spa Resort.

Graham Cooke and his delegation was welcomed at the International airport by Sherin Naiken Chief Executive of Seychelles Tourism Board (STB).

Sherin Naiken said such event is worth having for Seychelles.
“ World Travel Awards is a prestigious event that raised Seychelles profile on the International arena through presence of international covering to the Islands to cover the event” Sherin Naiken said
