The regional manager of the Seychelles Tourism Office Middle East Ahmed Fathallah said Lebanon is still considered as a new market for Seychelles.
“In response to the growing need from this country along with the necessity to promote the destination, we were delighted with our presence which enabled us to reach the consumers and promote the Seychelles’ products,” he said.
“The Seychelles islands have an immense diversity and variety with a wide range of unspoiled islands, some of the most beautiful and deserted beaches in the world, untouched forests and bird sanctuaries, facilities and accommodation to detailed insights into niche interests such as sailing, diving, fishing, romance, flora and fauna.”
“In 2014, we have done a joint collaboration with one of the big tour operators in Lebanon to create a brand and product awareness of Seychelles through different activities that were made to boost the islands’ visibility,” he added.
“We have received a lot of positive feedback from the clients and new ones too who learned more about Seychelles. Having our own stand on this niche event, has helped us to increase our presence to specifically reach the target audience for Seychelles.”
Throughout the four day exhibition the Seychelles’ team welcomed many visitors and happily answered all their questions about the Seychelles as a honeymoon and wedding destination.
