Small Hotels "Gites de La Reunion and Seychelles Secrets" meet to discuss closer cooperation
ATP- arab tourism portal- President Didier Robert of La Reunion and Minister Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture joined a group of small hoteliers in Seychelles grouped under the banner of "Seychelles Secrets" for a lunch organized for them to meet representatives of the small hotels grouping of La Reunion Island operating as the "Gites de La Reunion" Present at the lunch were also Mr Xavier-Luc Duval, the Deputy Prime Minister of Mauritius, Sherin naiken, the CEO of the Tourism Board, Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism, Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture, Arnaud Martin, the President of the Mauritius Tourism Authority, Pascal Viroleau, the CEO of the Vanilla Islands and other officials from La Reunion and mauritius Tourism.
When he addressed the those present President Didier Robert said that this meeting between the small hoteliers of la Reunion and those of Seychelles was overdue. He said that all was in place today to develop a closer partnership between these two groups of small entrepreneurs and in so doing develop further the tourism industry in between the two sister islands.
Minister Alain St.Ange said when he stood up to speak that today we have Air Austral that connects these two islands and that we needed to do everything possible to keep increasing Reunionais visitors to Seychelles as we should try to encourage more Seychellois to visit La Reunion.
