Miss Australia 2014 will be in Seychelles for the upcoming carnival
ATP- arab tourism portal- Seychelles is expected to welcome another Miss World 2014 contestant, this time coming from Australia, to its shores for the fifth anniversary of the Carnaval International de Victoria which will be officially opened on the 24 April in Victoria.
Miss Australia 2014 Courtney Thorpe will be joining Miss Tanzania Happiness Watimanywa and Miss United States Elizabeth Safrit in Seychelles for the carnival. They will be welcomed by Camilla Estico, Miss Seychelles 2014 and together the Beauty Queens will showcase the spirit of Beauty with a Purpose concept.
Courtney Thorpe will be representing her country in this year’s carnival which will be held from April 24-26.
Coming from Brisbane, Courtney Thorpe was crowned as Australia’s beauty queen during the national pageant held in July last year.
Her Miss World experience is surely a memorable one as she had her fair share of attainments in the contest.
Aside from making it to the top five at this pageant, she also won the Miss World Oceania 2014 title in the contest.
Miss Australia was among the top five contestants for the People’s choice award and Miss World Top Model.
