Oman & Seychelles Ministers of Tourism meet at WTM in London
Almasalla, ATP News- H.E. Maitha Saif Majod Al–Mahrouqi, the Under State Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman and Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture used the World Travel Market (WTM) of the UK to meet and continue discussions that had started when the Oman Minister was in Seychelles on an official visit earlier this year.
Present at the meeting were Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board and Captain David Savy, the Chairman of the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA) and also a member of the Board of the Seychelles Tourism Board.
Points discussed centred on air connectivity between Seychelles and the small Middle East Hub of Oman, shipping links, increasing Cruise Ship business in the region, trade amongst many others.
H.E. Maitha Saif Majod Al–Mahrouqi, the Under State Secretary for the Ministry of Tourism of the Sultanate of Oman used the meeting to invite Seychelles to participate in the Cruise Ship Fair that will be held in Oman in early December.
