Cooperation South Africa KwaZulu Natal & Seychelles set to grow
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Seychelles and South Africa have enjoyed good friendly relationship. Seychelles sits in the middle of the Indian Ocean and shares the same Indian Ocean with South Africa.
For the April 2014 edition of the Indian Ocean Vanilla Islands, South Africa KwaZulu Natal was a co-host of the event alongside Seychelles, La Reunion, Madagascar and Mayotte Islands. KwaZulu Natal Authorities took the opportunity of the working visit of the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture to Durban on the occasion of the INDABA Tourism Trade Fair for them to meet with Minister Alain St.Ange and discuss future cooperation between South Africa KwaZulu Natal and Seychelles.
Mr Sadha Naidoo, Board Chairman of Tourism KwaZulu Natal and Mr Desmond Golding, the Head of Department Economic Development & Tourism at the Department of Economic Development & Tourism from the Province of KwaZulu Natal hosted a working breakfast for Minister St.Ange at the Beverly Hills Hotel at Mlanga Rocks in Durban. Present amongst others at the breakfast meeting was Mr Ndabo Khoza, the CEO of Tourism of KwaZulu Natal.
The feedback form the participation of the Province at the 2014 edition of the Carnaval International de Victoria in Seychelles was tabled and future areas of cooperation discussed.
It was agreed that a formal MOU be signed between the Province of KwaZulu Natal and Tourism KwaZulu Natal with the Seychelles Ministry of Tourism and Culture to pave the way for a working visit by Mr Desmond Golding to Seychelles at the end of May. Mr Golding is set to be accompanied by a delegation of South Africa Business Community on this working trip.
