Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture made a remarkable speech about the Carnaval International de Victoria of the Seychelles showcased diversity of colour and culture and how this concept of togetherness would show to the world that people from kaleidoscopic mix of cultures could still come, even in 2014, and be together in unity.  Minister St.Ange said that Seychelles in itself is a “good example of this concept’’.

“ with all due respect  to our co-host South Africa who calls itself a rainbow nation, we in Seychelles are living as the rainbow people’’ said Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister for Tourism and Culture.
