SEYCHELLES PARADISE TANKER IN SALVAGE OPERATION
MT Seychelles Paradise has been contracted to support a salvage operations of a grounded vessel in Diego Suarez, North of Madagascar.
The vessel left Port Victoria on the 20th afternoon and arrived in Madagascar yesterday, the 23rd of April afternoon. She berthed Diego Suarez port, and went through various port state control and the salvage company inspections successfully. The operation will include removing fuel from the grounded tanker
MT Seychelles Paradise has performed several operations outside Seychelles, including supply of fuel to an oil rig, inside port limits ofMauritius in December 2013. The vessel also assisted Comoros with a fuel cargo in 2013, at a time when their supplies were short.
Seychelles Paradise usually operates to ensure supply of products on Praslin as well as to support offshore bunkering operations but recently she has shown versatility and capacity for out of ordinary operations within the whole of the Indian Ocean, given that such services are not always readily available in this region.
