Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suites Holds Fundraiser for Typhoon Haiyan
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – WINNIPEG, Manitoba – Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suites friday presented a cheque for $1,865 to the Red Cross for Typhoon Haiyan Relief.
“We have more than 30 team members at our hotel from the local Filipino community. When the Typhoon occurred, we felt an immediate desire to help in any way we could. We were grateful to be able to use our workplace as a platform to assist those in need,” said Joel Waterman, operations manager, Hilton Winnipeg Airport Suites.
The luncheon was Filipino cuisine prepared by our executive chef, his culinary team and associate volunteers. One hundred percent of the revenues were donated directly to Red Cross.
