Boris Bornman, General Manager of Sheraton Soma Bay announced last week the promotion of Ester Kamal to the position of Assistant Director, Marketing & Communications.
An Egyptian Hotel & Tourism graduate, Ester has more than 15 years of experience across a wide range of hospitality departments, ranging from front office, quality assurance to branding, marketing and public relations.
Ester, started her marketing profession in 2016, when she was appointed as the complex brand & activation manager for the Westin and Sheraton Hotels in Soma Bay. She was then promoted to Marketing and Communications Manager in early 2018, where she also won the prestigious Marriott International Global Award “Brand & Marketing Leader of the Year”
Ester is a strong believer and supporter of future female leaders and is passionate about empowering other women.
