ARTERIAL NETWORK COMMITTEE OF SEYCHELLES MEETS TOURISM & CULTURE MINISTER
aTP- Arab tourism portal- Minister Alain St.Ange met with Arterial Network committee members to engage in a fruitful discussion on the further development of the arts in Seychelles. The importance of cultural development was highlighted, with all parties agreeing that government and NGOs such as Arterial can achieve a great deal through sharing resources and expertise, and that the principal objective of such collaboration should be meaningful outcomes which both the Seychelles public and visitors to our islands can enjoy, participate in and benefit from.
It was agreed to schedule a further meeting to fine-tune the development and funding of further projects which would build on the recent participation of two Seychellois artists, George Camille and Leon Radegonde, at the 2015 Venice Biennale, the world’s most important contemporary art exhibition.’ We agreed to meet once again in January with the aim of moving forward points raised during the discussions we had" said Minister St.Ange before saying that the meeting with the Arterial Network was cordial and productive.
