Seychelles names two Cultural Ambassadors on the eve of the Official Opening of the 2015 Creole Festival
ATP- Arab tourism portal- Two more Cultural Ambassadors for Seychelles were named this morning by Minister Alain St.Ange، the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture at an event at the Gallery at the Carrefour des Arts in Victoria.
The ceremony that took place in the presence of PS Benjamine Rose، the PS for Culture Jimmy Savy، the CEO of the National Arts Council، High Commissioner of Great Britain and Ambassadors of France and Russia as well as members of the Art Community and Students accompanied by their Teachers.
Manfredi Lefebvre d Ovidio، the President of the Silversea Cruises and Marclane Antoine، a Cultural personality from Mauritius with a long association with the music world of Seychelles were both named Cultural Ambassadors of Seychelles on the eve of the Official Opening Ceremony of the island s Creole Festival which is marking its 30th Anniversary this year.
When he was addressing the gathering before presenting Mr Manfredi Lefebvre d Ovidio and Mr Marclane Antoine their Certificate of Appointment، Minister Alain St.Ange explained that personalities who understood our Seychelles Culture and who appreciated this unique Culture of seychelles were appointed to help the Culture Department of the islands in its continued mission to help the Seychelles World of Culture consolidate itself and also break into the outside world. Minister St.Ange thanked Mr Manfredi Lefebvre d Ovidio، the President of the Silversea Cruises and Mr Marclane Antoine for their love of Seychelles، for their friendship and for accepting to serve seychelles as Cultural Ambassadors.
