An exclusive luxury castle in Northern Ireland has opened up a new wing featuring five high quality en-suite bedrooms, plus kitchen, library, and drawing room with spectacular views over the County Fermanagh Lakelands.

Its newly named Abercorn Wing, sleeping up to 10, has undergone extensive renovation work and become available to guests for the first time.
Situated on the northern tip of Upper Lough Erne, Belle Isle is one of the best places to stay in Northern Ireland. The 470-acre Belle Isle Estate is spread over eight picturesque islands, with the original castle dating back to 1680. Today it offers a wide range of attractive self-catering accommodation to suit all tastes and budgets.
Become king or queen of the castle simply by renting it as your personal holiday home, a place where modern facilities blend seamlessly with original period grandeur and a relaxed country-house style.
Guests can enjoy the castle as if it is their own home, delighting in the atmosphere of a private house party. Use of the drawing room and the impressive grand hall, a banqueting room for up to 60 with its own minstrels’ gallery is included.
A cook and staff can be provided or guests can take the self-catering option for complete privacy if they wish.
The Hamilton Wing offers accommodation for up to 16 people in six double bedrooms and two twins all with en-suite or dedicated bathroom. Each room is individually styled and unique in its own right with traditional features like exposed beams, four-poster beds, and original paintings.
Either the Hamilton or the Abercorn Wing can be hired separately, but together they would house up to 26 people.
Also on offer is different accommodation throughout Belle Isle’s courtyard cottages, coach house cottages and water’s edge holiday cottages, all of which feature unique, differently styled bedrooms.
The exclusive accommodations are complemented by an award-winning cookery school and a high quality working farm, handy as a source for all sorts of goodies like venison, game, fish, cheese and herbs and vegetables from the walled garden.
Outdoors, facilities include an all-weather tennis court in the old walled garden, game shooting, pike fishing and stalking. Belle Isle guests also have access to a wooden cruiser for tootling around the picturesque inlets and islands of Lough Erne.
