Arts Exhibition in Seychelles for FetAfrik to mark Africa Day 2015 sees participation from mainland Africa
ATP- arab tourism portal- "Africa must work with Africa if Africa is to be strong" is a statement ofter aired by Alain St.Ange, the Seychelles Minister responsible for Tourism and Culture and on Monday this week Minister St.Ange again said the same words as he visited the FetAfrik Arts Exhibition dedicated to links with Africa. Present were some of the Zambia Artists who had travelled to Seychelles with some of his art work and to celebrate Africa Day on the islands. Several mainland Africa Delegations and also representatives from the islands of Reunion and Madagascar are also in Seychelles to showcase their African Heritage through this year’s FetAfrik.
As he toured the impressive collection of artwork on display, Minister Alain St.Ange who was being accompanied by Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture and Anne Lafortune, the PS for Tourism said that the Seychellois Artists who have put up exhibits in this year’s Art Exhibition needed to be congratulated. "The works by the Seychellois Artists are standing proudly side by side with all the works by artists from mainland Africa. Our dedicated artists who are always willing and eager to be part of national art exhibitions need to be congratulated because they continue to do seychelles proud. Their masterpieces on display do credit to the art industry of our islands" said Minister St.Ange.
The Minister also thanked the foreign artists present with their very own works of art and congratulated to be proud African Artists.
