Seychelles Tourism Board’s Germany Office joins Ethiopian Airlines on German Road Show
Almasalla,Gate Arab Tourism News- Frankfurt — The Seychelles Tourist Board Germany Office in Frankfurt has joined Ethiopian Airlines on a road show through three major German cities to celebrate the airline’s recent revival of the Frankfurt—Seychelles connection via Addis Ababa.
The road show was launched on Monday, 29 September 2014, at the Forum Colosseo in Frankfurt/Main, from where Ethiopian Airlines resumed its Seychelles route that same day. Ethiopian Airlines (ET), Africa’s largest airline and a member of the prestigious Star Alliance, offered travel agents authentic Ethiopian buffet fare plus musical entertainment while providing them with the latest information on the carrier, their network, and their plans for the future.
Regional Manager Edith Hunzinger of the Seychelles Tourism Board’s Office in Frankfurt and her colleague from Kenya presented their respective destinations as well.
Two out of the 80 invited travel agents were drawn as the lucky winners of a combined “fam trip” in early December that will take them to Ethiopia, Kenya, and the Seychelles aboard Ethiopian Airlines.
The road show will be taken to Berlin on 14 October and Munich on 16 October.
Ethiopian Airlines offers three Seychelles flights per week with connections from/to Frankfurt International (FRA) via Addis Ababa (ADD). Passengers depart Frankfurt at 21:35 on Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays to arrive in the Seychelles at 15:25 the following day. Only 70 minutes later, the plane returns to the Ethiopian capital, where passengers can catch a connecting flight to Frankfurt, arriving at 06:20 in the morning of the following day (Saturday, Monday, Tuesday).
