Saturday evening was also marked by a Moutya Evening at Hotel L’Archipel and this came with its traditional bonfire to heat the drums.

Louis D’Offay and his son Lucas had been hosting a group of Travel Agents who were on an educational visit from London were on hand to welcome Minister St.Ange and Minister Sinon and the Tourism Team. The sounds of the Moutya Drums provided the ideal backdrop for the hotel guests and they wasted no time to show that they were all eager to learn the steps of the Seychelles Traditional Moutya dance. The perfect beach setting of Hotel L’Archipel provided the ideal location for a traditional Moutya Evening with its bonfire.
