Invest Abu Dhabi and Artissima join hands to support artworks of Abu Dhabi Autism Center students
 

Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – The Abu Dhabi Investment Company (Invest AD) and Artissima Art Gallery have collaborated to showcase and support the artworks done by the Abu Dhabi Autism Centre students in an exhibition called Emirati Impressions. The exhibition will be held from May 4th to May 10th at the North Entrance of the Galleria Mall on Al Maryah Island.

Aurela Cuku, Managing Partner, Artissima Gallery said, “The exhibition is in line with our objective to bring art from all over the world as well as art from all spectrums of society locally to the public. Every piece has a story to tell and we are honoured to collaborate with the Abu Dhabi Investment Company on this initiative.”
 

 

 

The team at Invest AD further reiterated their resolve to promote and support art of the students to encourage their craft and collaborate with the Zayed Higher Organisation for Humanitarian Care and Special Needs on initiatives relating to the development of young talent. Invest AD supports is a proud supporter of Abu Dhabi Autism Center and autistic students since 2012.

The children are all Emirati both boys and girls from Abu Dhabi Autism Center, which is operated under Zayed Higher Organisation. The artwork, produced through art therapy class, aids children with autism, but will not be for sale yet.

The Abu Dhabi Autism Center was established in 2000 as a result of the efforts of Her Highness Sheikha Shamsa Bint Hamdan Al Nanyan. The center provides specialist services to around 50 students all Emirati. The center provides different services such as: diagnosing and assessment service, early intervention service, academic education service, psychological and social counseling service, vocational rehabilitation, and inclusion services.

Public at the Galleria Mall can view the exhibition until the 10th of May where the artworks can be appreciated.
