Al Tayyar Travel Group and Al Hanouf Companies sign one of the biggest touristic collaborations between Saudi Arabia and Egypt
A bond of trust developing Egypt tourism
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Over a prestigious celebration at the Four Seasons in Garden City in Egypt , the two business magnates Dr. Nasser Al Tayyar, Deputy Chairman & President of Al Tayyar Travel Group and Ashraf Shiha, Chairman of the Board representing Al Hanouf Company for tourism and services announced their significant partnership strengthening the tourism sector in the region. The event was well attended by high profile businessmen, diplomats, media and political professionals.
By signing this agreement Al Hanouf Company has become one of the 18 companies following Al Tayyar international code of conduct to develop and enhance the structure of Arabic tourism. Al Tayyar group has more than 380 branches around Saudi Arabia and 28 specialized companies in Travel and Tourism around the world, besides numerous exclusive agents. Al Tayyar group is considered as the first Saudi company to invest in the Egyptian market since 1996, with more than 10 billion Egyptian pounds worth of investments. Moreover, the company provided more than 2000 job opportunities to the Egyptian youth and it is also considered one of the biggest companies in the Arab world which encourages Egyptian tourism, attracting more tourists to visit Egypt.
At the press conference held, the panel discussions covered the various roadblocks faced by tourism in Egypt and how the country can be once again given its rightful title of being an apt tourist destination on the globe. Speakers emphasized that this positive revolution will be possible with the joint efforts of the public and private sectors and the development of the transport sector, contributing to the development of the country. As an experienced tourism leader Dr. Nasser Al Tayyar addressed all queries from media and partners, opening the forum to discuss opportunities in the tourism sector.
Remarking on this milestone, Dr. Nasser Al Tayyar mentioned,
“This strategic partnership comes as part of implementation of Al Tayyar’s future plans to encourage Arab tourism.” He added, “This partnership now prepares the Egyptian market to receive more tourists after three years of declined tourism in the country. We believe that these developments will lead to greater socio-economic and political stability in Egypt.”
Dr. Al Tayyar emphasized that Saudi investors trusted the Egyptian economy and its ability to recover with a greater push through Arab investments. Additionally, Ashraf Shiha, the Chairman of Al Hanouf Company for tourism and services praised Saudi Arabia for their faith in the economy and for supporting the situation during the transition period.
He also added that with this agreement, Al Tayyar Travel group will play an important role in improving the Egyptian tourism and economy since they have immense experience in the field.
