Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – In the National Festival of Culture and Heritage “Janadriyah” starting from its thirtieth session next year 1436 AH /2015 the visitors will be able to visit the archaeological sites and heritage sites interactively through the "Tourism and Heritage Oasis" pavilion, which will be using the most modern techniques in design and development in the presentation of the architectural heritage of the Kingdom in a very sophisticated manner.
 

SCTA’s participation in the festival starting of the next session will be through latest technologies applying highly interesting methods of display in the "Tourism and Heritage Oasis". SCTA seeks to make its participation distinct in the festival as it has played a big and influential role since its inception in the preservation of the national heritage and crafts of Saudi Arabia. Also that the festival has become a national event of culture and tourism, everyone is keen to provide the best of his service to the national heritage given that the State is giving every attention and support to the care and rehabilitation of the culture and heritage of the Kingdom.

 

SCTA will ensure that the Oasis to be opened around the year for the visitors, especially during the weekends in order to enable its visitors to be acquainted with the national heritage in a sophisticated style using the latest technologies which enables visitor to experience the national heritage and cultural dimension of the Kingdom as a concrete reality adding to the other well-known dimensions of the Kingdom: religious, political and economic dimensions.
 

"Tourism and Heritage Oasis" is consisted of a reception hall to welcome the SCTA guests, a service area of over of 1000 square meters, in addition to an open display hall that includes interactive, visual and entertaining means over an area of 3000 square meters. The building also includes a cinema hall to display SCTA films and it can accommodate about 50 spectators at any one time. Also it has an outer yard for celebrations and holding of handicraft and traditional industries activities sprawled over an area of 6000 square meters.
 

The oasis includes four major themes; Antiquities, Cultural heritage, Tourist attractive sites in the Kingdom, Tourism investments and projects, together they form the elements of integrated tourism experience to inspires the national heritage.

 

Noteworthy, in the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan bin Salam bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTA, His Royal Highness Prince Met’ab bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, State Minister, member of the Cabinet, and Chief of National Guard, on Wednesday evening, 12th February, had laid the foundation stone of the "Tourism and Heritage Oasis", which was conceived by SCTA, at the location of Al Janadriyah Cultural and Heritage Festival which has began its presence in the vicinity of Riyadh on Wednesday last and will continue to attract visitors until 28th of February.
