Discovery of Abu Dhabi rare monuments date back to stone age and pre-history era

Director General of Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Tradition Mohamed Khalaf Al-Mazrouy uncovered that a team from the Authority discovered monuments in the Western region of Abu Dhabi Emirate, that date back to Middle Ancient Stone Age.

These monuments are core and parts of Granite stone that were trimmed and prepared to be source for making more accurate tools.
These cores represent a type of Levallois manufacturing that ancient man began its practice since the ancient stone age and pre-history era.

In a phone call with Al-Mazrouy from Cairo he said that due to the importance of this discovery a paper on the topic is presented by the Abu Dhabi Authority for Culture and Tradition to the Arabic Studies seminar scheduled this month in the British museum in London, as part of working papers on stone ages ancient and modern for the Arabian Peninsula region.
