The General Assembly of Tourism Businessmen Association re-elected Amro Sedky Chairman of Board of Directors for second time successively.
Engineer Tarek Mansour was nominated Deputy Chairman of the of the Association, while Engineer Mohamed Murad was elected Secretary General, amd Raef Mohamed Raafat as Treasurer Secretary General. The board of Directors comprised Medhat Helmy, Amro Al-Malt, Ahmed Allam, Ishak El-Gendy and Hatem Ragaei as members.
President of the Association Amro Sedky told “Al-Masalla” following his winning that the Association that comprises more than 100 businessmen active in Tourism industry, tourism experts and hoteliers that it has a promising program for many activities that identify the importance of tourism industry, raising awareness programs, particularly as regards of the developments in the sector, especially the electronic tourism.
He added that the programs to be implemented by the Association and currently under study the participation in a number of international conferences that several countries and similar associations are taking part for upgrading the inter-tourism among Arab countries.
On his part Secretary General Engineer Mohamed Murad confirmed to “Al-Masalla” that Tourism Businessmen Association will work during the forthcoming period for activating a momentum for Egyptian tourism industry to reach targeted objectives of increasing number of tourists to 14 million by year 2011 and providing 4 million new job opportunities through the Egyptian Tourism and Hotel sector.
He pointed out that the Association shall spare no effort for cooperation with Ministry of Tourism and other ministries concerned as well as tourism private sector to push forward tourism in favour of Egypt to fulfill targets.
