His secrets and confusion that surrounds him are still astonishing the world

Since discovery of his archeological collection the young King who is titled the Golden Pharaoh “Tout Ankh Amoun” is still stirring debate, argument and astonishment of the world through his exhibitions that are roaming the world, especially the complete treasures that were found in his tomb, that date back to the 18th dynasty.
This era was regarded one of the most flourishing times of ancient Egypt, when the country was open to the old Near East provinces.

This era witnessed a lot of military campaigns, trade relations, export and import of materials and manufactured products, activities of craftsmanship and artists that led to strengthening of the cultural relations between Egypt and neighbours, particularly The Levant Provinces and Eagan Sea.

Second cause was that the treasury of Tout Ankh Amoun was the most complete royal treasury found unequivocal.
It is composed of 358 pieces that include the marvelous Golden mask, three sarcophagus on the shape of man, one of them made of pure gold and the two others were made of wood trimmed with gold.

Each set of them deserve a special unique exhibition. Accordingly, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council for Antiquities Dr. Zahi Hawas will inaugurate on Sunday evening the exhibition of “Tout Ankh Amoun Wrapping cloth” at the Egyptian Antiquities Museum, Tahrir Square, Cairo.
Museum Director Dr. Wafaa El-Seddiq stated that a group of amulets and treasures will be displayed at Hall 44 of the museum.

These treasures were found in the surroundings of the mummy of Tout Ankh Amoun, that are displayed at Tout Ankh Amoun halls in the Egyptian Antiquities Museum. The exhibition will cast light on secrets of these amulets and reasons of placing it inside the flax wrappings of the mummy.

The exhibition, which is organized in collaboration with activity of Art History at the German Nuns School in Cairo and lasts 3 months includes pictures from the drawings of Howard Carter who discovered the tomb of Tout Ankh Amoun, drawings by the German artist Herbert Grim whi is living in Cairo since August 2005, and he is inspired in his works by the ancient Egyptian Arts and Monuments, especially treasures of Tout Ankh Amoun.
