JORDAN WELCOMES THE ‘MODERN TRAVELLER’

With positive first quarter tourism figures and modern attractions on the rise, Jordan is set to become one of the most popular holiday spots for Middle East travelers according to a Grand Hyatt Amman spokesperson.
Amman, the capital city of Jordan, has seen an increase in city life with new restaurants, social venues, and cutting edge design on the rise.

The Jordanian Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities revealed a total of 1,387,627 visitors for the first quarter of 2007- a significant increase compared to 2006.

“Jordan has seen a growth in the number of modern travellers looking for luxury as part of their holiday experience whether traveling on business or for pleasure,” said Thierry Bertin, Area Director of Marketing in the Middle East, Hyatt International Hotels and Resorts.
