wagamama introduces little grown-ups to the hoshi character and a new mini menu in dubai

(1st september 2014) in september wagamama welcomes "hoshi" to dubai launching a new mini menu to delight little grown-ups. the popular hoshi character, meaning ‘star’ in japanese, was launched across the UK wagamama outlets in 2012. hoshi was exclusively designed by rachel ortis, head designer at okido, an independent arts and science children’s magazine in the UK

wagamama have three branches throughout dubai with a family friendly vibe already firmly in place. the new mini menus featuring hoshi will offer child friendly versions of classic wagamama dishes such as yummy mini chicken katsu and mini yaki soba in smaller portions. little grown-ups can enjoy these favourites alongside free chocolate sprinkled cococino’s

whilst dining, hoshi will entice kids of all ages to complete puzzles and drawing challenges on noodle doodle designs, all beautifully created by okido’s team of artists. mini wagamama fans can even take hoshi home on specially designed stickers and limited edition t-shirts to complete the experience

wagamama will also be taking kids ‘back to school’ this september with educational visits launching across dubai locations. under the watchful eye of hoshi (and maybe a few adults) children can learn about how the japanese-inspired dishes are made, orders are taken and the restaurants are run. kids will work with okido designed materials and can take home goody bags available as part of the school visits including origami inspired worksheets, stickers, aprons, jute bags and an attendance certificate

families can now head to local wagamama branches to experience whole family fun and games with hoshi
