Seychelles local farmer committed to Miss Seychelles… another world “back to basic” campaign in a culture in agriculture approach
 

Almasalla,Gate Arab Tourism News- Miss Seychelles … another world, upped her battle to promote her “back to basic’’ campaign which is geared towards fighting obesity and upholding healthy living among Seychelles population.The campaign has gained great admiration.
 

In one of her recent televised interviews to give an oversight of her “back to basic “project, Camila Estico drew the admiration of Jean-Paul Geffroy, Manager and owner of “Geffroy Farm,’’, a well established businessmen.
 

Jean-Paul Geffroy has been intensively active in local community projects, such as schools, to change the mindset of the population on healthy living. Mr Geffroy acknowledged that he was touched by Camila’s unique and outstanding project.
He explained that he shares Camilla’s philosophy of teaching the population how to make small changes to improve their healthy lifestyle.

“This project has so much in commonality with my belief of promoting a healthy living. I felt it was my duty to approach you and support this national project which will bring benefits to Seychelles’’.
 

Camila Estico’s “back to basic’’ project is targeting four Seychellois families.

During fifteen weeks Camilla Estico and her sponsors will provide each family on a monthly basis a nutrition list, healthy commodities and supplements to stimulate a healthy lifestyle.
Camilla said she is in the process of working with nutritionists to draft the list and identifying the four families who will benefit from this project.
 

Her vision is to at least transform the lifestyle of one of the four families and presents results of her project in London for “Miss World 2014’’.

Miss Seychelles… another world said she is thankful for the support of Mr Geffroy to provide vegetables on a monthly basis to the families. “Fresh vegetables are the biggest portion of the nutrition list which provides a healthy approach to eating.’’

 Camilla Estico added her focused go beyond observing the loss of weight in families selected for the project but ensuring they are healthy as well.

“Being healthy does not solely show from the outside, how the person feels inside is also important’’.
 

Jean -Paul Geffroy said his farm grows a variety of organic vegetables that could help this project.
 

“We’ve made tremendous efforts to adopt organic farming and significantly reduced pesticides on the farm. The crops are grown with biological chemicals which transform the way we do farming’’.

Camilla Estico said it’s important that families start using locally grown and healthy products accessible on the market.

Seychelles Trading Company ( STC) is already committed to “ back to basic’’ project and she’s appealing to other sponsors to come together and support her project.
 

Miss Seychelles…. another world “ back to basic’’ project is seen as setting the benchmark in giving the families the tips to embrace healthy.
