Confederation of Indian Industry welcomes the Seychelles Minister and his delegation to their Head Quarters in Delhi
 

Almasalla,Gate Arab Tourism News- Mr Arjun Sharma, the Co-Chairman of the CII (Confederation of Indian Industry) National Committee on Tourism and himself the Managing Director of "Le Passage to India". Accompanying the Seychelles Minister to this high level trade meeting were H. E. Waven William, the Seychelles High Commissioner accredited to India, Marco Francis, the Chamber of the Seychelles Chamber of Commerce and Industries,  Sherin Naiken, the CEO of the Seychelles Tourism Board, Benjamine Rose, the PS for Culture, Vijay Patel, the Chairman of the Seychelles India Association and Head of VIJAY Constructions, Ramakrishnan Pillay, the CEO and Chairman of the Pillay R. Group, Shanmouga Pillay of Kannus, Narendra Rafhvani of Sahajanand Builders, the Chartered Accountant, Narasimhan Ramani, Pravin Darad the Managing Director of Allied Builders and Pascal Viroleau, the CEO of the Vanilla Islands of the Indian Ocean.

 The meeting heard both sides of the table discuss cooperation between Seychelles and India as they saw it from their respective sides. It became very clear at this meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry that Seychelles was regarded in high esteem as a holiday destination and as a potential trading partner. Mr Subhash Goyal , the Chairman of the STIL Travel Group and himself the Chairmen of the Indian Chamber of Commerce – Aviation, Tourism & Hospitality said as he addressed the meeting that their were two groups of people in the world – those who had been to Seychelles and those who aspired to visit Seychelles.
 

 

 

 

 

Following an address by Mr Arjun  Sharma where he spoke about the possibilities for cooperation between Indian and Seychelles and where he table the need for speeding up direct air access between the two countries, Minister St.Ange and Mr Marco Francis delivered their address to the Confederation of Indian Industry expressing their appreciation for being invited to address a session of this gathering of Indian Business Community.
 

This meeting was also the opportunity for Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles to invite Mr Sharma and Members of the Confederation of Indian Industry to visit Seychelles to see for themselves areas that are available for business and he joined Mr Marco Francis to invite the Confederation of Indian Industry to be present in the Trade Fair of May 2015 where the Business Community from Asia, Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands will meet in Seychelles and create partnerships and develop new opportunities.
