InterContinental Citystars Cairo recognised as best business hotel in Cairo
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts named Best Hotel Brand Worldwide by business travellers at the 2014 Business Traveller Middle East Awards
Almasalla Arab Travel Portal News – Cairo- Press Release -InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) celebrated as its InterContinental Hotels and Resorts brand picked up a quartet of accolades at the 2014 Business Traveller Middle East Awards, including the prestigious title of "Best Hotel Brand Worldwide".
In addition, three InterContinental properties were recognised during the awards, with InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut, InterContinental Jeddah and InterContinental Cairo Citystars picking up the titles of "Best Business Hotel" in their respective cities.
One of the world’s leading hotel brands with more than 180 hotels worldwide, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts was the first international hotel company to enter the region when we opened the Phoenicia in Lebanon more than 50 years ago. There are now 28 InterContinental hotels open across the Middle East and eight more due to open over the next three to five years.

More than 300 travel industry managers were hosted at this year’s Business Traveller Middle East Awards, which were presented by award-winning Michelin-starred chef Heinz Beck.
Winners of the annual Awards are decided by business travellers who vote for their preferred brands across travel categories including aviation, car hire and hotels.
InterContinental Hotels & Resorts picked up the following awards at the 2014 Business Traveller Middle East:

· Best Business Hotel in Beirut: InterContinental Phoenicia Beirut
· Best Business Hotel in Cairo: InterContinental Citystars Cairo
· Best Business Hotel in Jeddah: InterContinental Jeddah
