Hilton Worldwide Opens First Dual-Brand Property in Downtown Richmond

 

Debut of Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton Continues Brands’ Growth in Urban Markets

 

 

 

 

aTP-  Arab tourism portal- RICHMOND, Va. and MCLEAN, Va. – Hilton Worldwide  last thursday announced the opening of its newest hotel, the dual-branded Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Richmond – Downtown and Homewood Suites by Hilton Richmond – Downtown bringing a total of 244 new rooms to the heart of downtown Richmond. The opening demonstrates Hilton Worldwide’s ongoing urban expansion in the focused service and All-Suites sectors.

Developed and owned by Shamin Hotels, Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton and Homewood Suites by Hilton Richmond – Downtown complement the city’s growing business center nearby Virginia’s largest convention center.** Gillian Clark serves as the general manager for both properties.

 

With both properties located at 700 East Main Street, they are centrally located and offer convenient access to the Virginia State Capitol, Federal Courthouse, Richmond Coliseum and Convention Center, and a multitude of restaurants, entertainment and shopping options. The hotel also overlooks the James River, and offers a rooftop lounge, restaurant, and event space to enjoy a panoramic view.

 

The dual-brand concept creates enhanced and larger communal areas than what would be standard at a stand-alone property, benefitting both business and leisure travelers. Guests at each property have access to the rooftop fitness center and heated rooftop pool. The hotel has two distinct lobbies offering two separate check-in desks and lodging/dining areas – each catering to the needs of their respective guests.

 

Hampton by Hilton provides guests a fresh start to each day with On the House hot breakfast which includes eggs, oatmeal and waffles. In addition, the hotel provides Hampton’s On the RunTM Breakfast Bags, available Monday through Friday. Also, other amenities include free Wi-Fi, a 24-hour business center with complimentary printing and a fitness center.

 


Each guestroom includes the brand’s signature Clean and fresh Hampton bed®, HDTV, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker. Inviting suites are also available, offering additional space and a comfortable sleeper sofa.

 

Homewood Suites by Hilton offers a combination of studio and one bedroom accommodations, featuring fully-equipped kitchens, and separate living and sleeping areas. Guests are also afforded all the essentials they need for a comfortable and convenient stay – complimentary daily full-hot breakfast, evening social Monday-Thursday, Wi-Fi and grocery shopping service***. The hotel also offers 7,000 square feet of flexible meeting space including a grand ballroom that can accommodate up to 225 people.
