aTP- Arab tourism portal- April 2nd marks the eighth annual World Autism Awareness Day where associates at the Ramada Encore Doha celebrated this special day in denim blue, which is in line with the theme – "Light It Up Blue".
“Our participation is aimed at creating awareness and educating our team and hotel guests alike on Autism through the distribution of leaflets from Shafallah Center for Children with Special Needs." – said Magdalina Chung, Hotel Manager of Ramada Encore Doha.
World Autism Awareness Day represents an excellent opportunity to promote autism awareness, autism acceptance and to draw attention to the tens of thousands facing autism diagnosis each year. This yearly event is focused on personal efforts for awareness raising and eliminating negative stigma associated with autism. It is also a day that highlights the struggles of people with autism and the importance of a better understanding of such a disorder.
