JETEX OPENS ITS LARGEST FBO LOUNGE IN DUBAI
DUBAI, UAE – Jetex Flight Support proudly announces the grand opening of its newly built FBO Terminal at Al Maktoum International Airport in the recently rebranded Dubai South Aviation District (previously known as Dubai World Central [DWC]). The addition of the 1,500m2 terminal and dedicated ramp parking space of 50,000m2 makes the facility the largest FBO in Jetex’s worldwide portfolio.
"We designed this new iconic facility to shatter expectations of a traditional FBO by bringing upscale contemporary interior design and 5-star hospitality to the aviation arena. From the fleet of Rolls Royce airside transport to a lavish cigar lounge within the FBO terminal, we strive to provide the highest level of care and comfort to all of our guests," said Jetex CEO and President, Adel Mardini.
While its outward appearance conveys relaxed luxuriousness with plush private seating areas, the terminal was also designed for maximum efficiency. Experienced Jetex staff provides comprehensive ground and baggage handling, fueling, security, and concierge services, including bespoke air transfer arrangements to major locations in the Emirates to avoid traffic delays. On-site customs and immigrations officers handle any necessary formalities with a minimum wait for passengers.
"This new Jetex terminal further strengthens our position within the general aviation business. Our new DWC facility is the first FBO in Dubai to be awarded the International Standard for Business Aircraft Handling (IS-BAH) certification earlier this year," added Mardini.
Catering to private, business and government VIP travelers, the new Jetex facility offers 24-hour customs clearance, dedicated executive passenger and crew lounges, aircraft handling and ramp services, as well as personalized concierge services for those seeking VIP transportation or hotel accommodations. A state-of-the-art 5,000m2 hangar facility currently under construction will be available for aircraft storage and maintenance in 2017.
