Sultan bin Salman heads the second coordination meeting of Saudi Heritage Hospitality Co
aTP- Arab tourism portal News- Sultan bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, President of SCTH, heads the 2nd coordination meeting of the Saudi Heritage Hospitality Company, held at the SCTH headquarters in Riyadh last Tuesday in the presence of the members of the Board of Directors and senior owners.
Prince Sultan bin Salman during his speech at the meeting stressed on the role of relying on the Saudi Heritage Hospitality Company to activate the economic role of the national heritage within the “Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Taking care of National Heritage”.
SCTH President also stressed on the importance of unique experience in in the heritage hotels promoted by the company, which will be authentic and not repetitive in terms of hotel rooms, interior decoration craft or genuine Saudi cuisine. The company will strive to provide an authentic national heritage experience in the hospitality, for which the Kingdom is distinguished and its nationals are characterized for since the ancient times, as well as, new product development in the field of national heritage. The hotel company is designed to add quality offer integrated tourist experience in the Kingdom.
pointed out that the preparatory steps to begin the project of Samhan Heritage Hotel, which was honored by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz (may God protect him), by laying its foundation stone, and it is going well. After completing the design phases, which took a long time to absorb all the urban heritage details that characterize the hotel’s location in the historic Diriyah. It is the first project of the company.
Prince Sultan noted that the Kingdom represents a huge market in the field of heritage restoration, and SCTH has received requests from companies to engage in the restoration of heritage buildings projects, which encourages the development of a lot of sites for investments partnerships in heritage and hospitality the Kingdom.
Sultan confirmed that heritage hospitality is an economic sector upon which a number of countries depend exclusively to strengthen their economies. Hospitality market will benefit from the development of the heritage hospitality industry, with good returns to the local economies, and in in developing local tourist sites, creating jobs for the local communities, as well as in small and medium-sized investments for people in those areas.
