GBTA and VDR Announce Additional Education Sessions for Berlin Conference

The new stream will showcase the launch and discussion of three new research projects from the GBTA Foundation, the research and education arm of GBTA. It has been added due to higher than expected delegate registration and overwhelmingly positive feedback on Foundation research covering these topics at GBTA Convention 2014 in Los Angeles.
 

Almasalla,Gate Arab Tourism News-The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) and German business travel buyer association VDR – today announced an additional stream of breakout sessions at the GBTA Conference 12-14 November in Berlin, which this year incorporates VDR’s autumn symposium.
 

The new stream will showcase the launch and discussion of three new research projects from the GBTA Foundation, the research and education arm of GBTA. It has been added due to higher than expected delegate registration and overwhelmingly positive feedback on Foundation research covering these topics at GBTA Convention 2014 in Los Angeles. Supporting companies have invested in this research for Europe through the GBTA Foundation to add to the knowledge and resources availabe in this region for the business travel industry.

In addition, Airbus will be presenting its buyer case study on developing and managing an end-to-end process in a mature travel programme.

“The addition of these new sessions brings the total number of breakout options to 15 – almost double that of previous conferences,” said Catherine McGavock, GBTA’s Regional Director, EMEA. “The new GBTA Foundation stream and the inclusion of the Airbus buyer case study will provide delegates with valuable insights into the latest thinking and tangible learnings that they can use when they return to work on 17th November.”
 

The event brings together GBTA’s annual conference in Europe with German partner association VDR’s autumn symposium to create Europe’s foremost business travel conference, expected to attract more than 700 delegates from more than 20 countries.
