Societe Dubai Announces World Brand Ambassadors
Dubbed the ‘best job in the UAE,’ two lucky individuals will have the opportunity to travel the world
Almasalla- Arab Travel Portal News – After a month-long search that started with the leading Dubai nightclub receiving over 1,000 applications, Societe Dubai finally revealed their two World Brand Ambassadors at a packed end of season party last night.
Olly Lewis, originally from England and Claudia Klingbeil who is German, were chosen to take on the exciting role which has been dubbed as the ‘best job in the UAE’.
The campaign began back in May when Dubai residents were asked to submit a selfie to the Societe Dubai team. Of the 1,013 that applied, 50 progressed to the second stage where they would have to film a ‘pick me’ video, with 18 individuals eventually shortlisted for a face-to-face interview at the nightclub.
Last night, all 18 people were invited to the season closing party and at midnight, Societe Dubai’s Gary Holiday took to the stage to announce that Olly and Claudia were their World Brand Ambassadors.
Over 400 people were there to witness the announcement. Both Olly and Claudia will represent the Societe brand across six breath-taking destinations around the world – Sri Lanka, Nepal, Lebenon, Jordan, Thailand and Turkey.
They will be tasked with making a video and image diary whilst taking on once-in-a-lifetime experiences, including a three-day trek to Mount Everest base camp. They will also be expected to spread the Societe name.
Club Director Gary Holliday enthused, “The entire ‘best job in the UAE’ campaign has been a roaring success and we’d like to thank everyone who took the time to apply for the job. The standard of the videos submitted was very high and they were all a pleasure to watch.”
“All of the 18 interviewees will be joining us on a Societe active day out to show our appreciation of their efforts. We will also be bringing the ‘best job in the UAE back next year, bigger and better than before,” Holliday continued.
Societe Dubai is closed from Friday 27thof June and remains shut during the holy month of Ramadan and will re-open with a bang on the 29thJuly.
Currently located at the Marina Byblos Hotel in Dubai Marina, the club plays a variety of hits from the 80s, 90s and 00s amidst the backdrop of its unique mantra, namely: always wearing a smile, having fun and bringing people together.
