Chef Davide Concas appointed Chef de Cuisine in Andiamo Restaurant






ATP-  arab tourism portal- DUBAI  – An Italian national with over 12 years of culinary expertise, Chef Concas Davide has just been appointed as Chef De Cuisine – Andiamo, Grand Hyatt Dubai. Originally from Turin, Italy – a city known for its famed landscapes, gorgeous cuisine and steeped in history and culture, Chef Davide began his culinary journey with Park Hotel Villa Salzea in 2000. His apprenticeship here was followed by his stint in various other hotels in Cafes and restaurants in Italy.

Davide’s passion for cooking and his innate love for food started as early as when he was just 5 year old and was translated into a grand reality over the years in Europe. Coming from a family of foodies and making his first pizza at his own home pizza oven, Chef Davide’s food philosophy is to keep it simple, fresh and healthy. His forte is Ravioli and he plans to introduce some interesting ones to the menu soon. In 2011, Chef Davide bid farewell to Europe to embrace the busy city of New Delhi, India and joined as Chef de Cuisine at Westin. Here he handled multiple responsibilities and assisted the Executive Chef. This was his last assignment before coming on board to the Hyatt family. After his successful stint he moved to Grand Hyatt Amman. The beginning of a long-standing relationship with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts began with Davide’s responsibility at Amman.

A stickler for perfection, Davide’s passion for food is coupled with excellent cross-cultural people skills, organizational skills and a strong understanding of cultures and cuisines. This master of flavours finds inspiration among his co-workers and peers and is always on the lookout for new challenges. In terms of mentor inspiration, he mentions Chef Mario Albano the famous Italian chef whose foresight sight in creating F&B concepts had a strong influence in Davide’s constant pursuit for culinary perfection and direction.

An avid diver and rod fishing enthusiast, Chef Davide says in truly Italian style MAMMA MIA CHE BUONO!!! and is looking forward to some exciting times at Andiamo.
